Lisa is the daughter of Tony and Katja Donato and sister to older brother Michael. Lisa’s list of activities is numerous, ranging from President of National Honor Society, Co-Editor-in-chief of The Marshfield Times, host of ‘The Morning Kazaam” on KMHS Pirate Radio, Vice President of Marshfield Concert Choir, to volunteering at the Coos Art Museum, Marshfield Pioneer cemetery and photographing community and sporting events. In the classroom Lisa challenges herself by taking AP US History, College Writing and Physics. Lisa’s plans after high school include wanting to attend college on the East Coast and eventually study abroad with a dream of one day becoming a lead photographer for National Geographic. Congratulations Lisa!

Connor is the son of Bruce and Nancy Bryant and big brother to Gabby. Connor’s interests at Marshfield include acting in the theatre, copy editor of The Marshfield Times and vice president of the National Honor Society. In the winter, you will find Connor swimming at the pool as a member of the Marshfield swim team. In the classroom Connor takes challenging courses such as AP Psychology, College Writing, Anatomy & Physiology and Calculus. Connor is also a contestant in this spring’s Mr. MHS pageant. Connor’s post high school plans include attending a college or university to double major in creative writing and theatre in hopes of one day becoming a famous actor or writer. Congratulations Connor!

Lauren is the daughter of Mark and Carolyn Gagnon and sister to brothers Jack and Will. Lauren has been a four year band member, a member of the Marshfield track team in the spring as well as the cross country team. Lauren is a National Honor Society member with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Lauren is taking challenging classes such as college writing, Spanish 3 and college calculus at SWOCC. Her future plans include attending an engineering program next fall with the goal of becoming a mechanical engineer. Congratulatoins Lauren!

Will is the son of Elaine Dunham and Bill Moriarty and younger brother to Jamey and Thomas. Will has been a member of the speech and debate team at Marshfield High School for the past four years. Will qualified and attended the 2010 National Forensics League national Speech and Debate Tournament last year in Kansas City Missouri. Will has also been actively involved in ASB for the past four years and is currently the ASB Vice President. This year Will has brought The Marshfield Times online as the webmaster editor-in-chief. This past fall Will was selected as a Mr. MHS contestant by his classmates. In the classroom Will challenges himself in the classroom by taking Challenging courses such as college writing, physics, AP psychology and Spanish 4. His future plans include Applying to Whitman, Williams, Reed and Pomona colleges with the goal of majoring in political science. Congratulations Will!

Lucia is the daughter of Debra and Mike Vaughan and younger sister to brother’s Kooper and Bill. Lucia has been involved in a number of activities, clubs and organizations here at Marshfield. Those activities include artist for The Marshfield Times, Drum line, Choir, New Horizons, drama and National Honor Society. In the classroom, Lucia carries a cumulative 4.0 GPA and has received honorable mention on the national level for her editorial cartooning for the past two years in addition to honorable mention, excellent and superior marks for editorial cartooning at the state level. In the community, she has been a freelance writer for The World Newspaper the past two summers and has volunteered for the Coos Bay Public Library’s Children’s department to promote children’s literacy the past four summers. Lucia is also participating in the Mr. MHS pageant that raises money for the local share bear snack program. Her future plans are to attend a four year university to study design. Congratulations Lucia!

Sergio is the son of Michelle and Jose Marroquin and younger brother to Sara and Lila. Sergio is the current editor-in-chief of the Mahiscan Yearbook and a member of the Ford Family Leadership Program. In the classroom, Sergio challenges himself with courses like College Writing, AP Calculus and Spanish 4.Outside of the classroom; Sergio has run cross-country for four years and has been team captain the past two years. In the spring, Sergio continues his running as a member on the track & field team, a team he has been a member of for the past three years. Sergio’s future plans include attending a four-year university to major in engineering. Congratulations Sergio!

Heidi Boesl &

Dylon Yoshinaga

Heidi is the daughter of Aron and Rose Boesl, sister to Markus and Katie.  Heidi has been involved in several activities and clubs here at Marshfield High School.  Those include Choir, Yearbook, Band, New Horizons, Bible Club, National Honors Society, Key Club, and younglife.  Throughout her four years she has also participated in volleyball, basketball, and tennis.  This past summer she did an internship with Outlaw Photography to improve her photography skills to help her in her position as the Yearbook Photography Editor.  Heidi placed has received several awards for her singing ability, and last year was chosen to participate in a national choir in Chicago.  She also has spent many hours volunteering for her church.  Heidi plans to attend a four year college and major in either global studies or something in the medical field.  Congratulations Heidi!

Ashleigh is the daughter of Tara Chard and Jason Prescott and sister to brothers Christopher, Jonathon, Matthew, Kamren and Riley. Ashleigh is the head coordinator of Mr. MHS, ASB publicist, chairman of the MHS blood drive and photography editor of the Marshfield Times. Ashleigh challenges herself in the classroom by taking challenging courses like AP Psychology, College Writing, and Spanish 4 and is on honor roll. Outside of school Ashleigh works part time at Papa Murphy’s. Her future plans include attending either Western Oregon University or Oregon State University in the fall. Congratulations Ashleigh! 

Isabella is the daughter of Tere Munoz and sister to Sofia. Isabella is a member of the national Honor Society and Marshfield Concert Choir. Isabella has been a member of the Forensics team her 9th and 10thgrade years and attended Girl’s State last summer as well as Young Entrepreneur’s Business Week. Isabella volunteers at her church and participates in the Ford Leadership Foundation as a facilitator. In the classroom, Isabella takes challenging courses such as College Writing and AP Calculus. Here future plans include attending college in the fall to study economics and linguistics.  Congratulations Isabella!

Dylon is the son of Vera and Jay Yoshinaga and brother to Jason, Kirkland and sister Aloha. Dylon is actively involved in the music program at Marshfield high School; he has been in concert choir for 4 years and currently is a section leader, in addition to being a member of New Horizons for the past 3 years. Dylon is also the leader of the vocal group the Beachcombers.  Dylon also takes other rigorous courses such as college writing and AP US History. This past fall Dylon was a member of the men’s soccer team and this winter he is currently a member of the swim team. In the summer, Dylon has volunteers his time with Northwest Youth Corps, Coos County local government, Oregon Coast Community Action, AmeriCorps and Vista. In Dylon’s spare time he enjoys spending time with Younglife. Dylon’s future plans include Southwestern Community College in the fall.  Congratulations Dylon!
