Welcome back, Pirates!
We are excited to begin another school year at Marshfield High School and to welcome all of our students and families back to campus. A special greeting goes out to our new students and families—we’re so glad you’re joining the Marshfield community.
This year, we begin with a new bell schedule designed to provide consistency for instruction, maximize learning time, and support student success. We know that changes take some adjustment, but our staff is committed to helping students establish strong routines that will make each day productive and engaging.
During advisory this month, we will focus on building relational capacity, introducing/reinforcing our AVID schoolwide goal of strong organization happens, and building or revisiting each student’s four year plan and making sure it aligns with the Coos Bay School District vision of all students having a post high school plan of being “Enrolled, Enlisted, or Employed.”
On September 17, we will be hosting our open house starting at 5:00 pm so that parents can visit their student’s classes and meet their teachers. We will also have our Senior Parent Night in the auditorium starting at 6:00 pm.
The year ahead is full of promise, and I encourage students to get involved, challenge themselves, and take advantage of all that Marshfield has to offer. Together, we can make 2025 a year of growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make it a great school year!
Go Pirates!
