The OSAC Scholarship application has opened up as well as the Oregon Promise Application. Both of these can be found at: https://oregonstudentaid.gov/ Be sure to save your username and password somewhere you can easily access it.
Ford Scholar is now open in December
THE MHS LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM IN DECEMBER. THE CODE WILL BE IN THE CLASS OF 2025 GOOGLE CLASSROOM and will be given to each senior. YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION WILL BE TURNED IN THROUGH THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM. No late or hard copies will be accepted. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CLOSELY and attend help sessions so you know you are on the right track.
The early bird deadline is FEBRUARY 12th by 3:30pm. Getting it in early allows your application to be reviewed and returned to you so you may fix any issues.
The final deadline is March 5th by 3:30pm
You must submit a completed application which includes 4 essays, attaching 2 letters of recommendation (one staff member and one community member), a completed activities chart, a screen shot of your FAFSA Student Aid index, and complete the google form and include a senior picture,

Not sure where to start or what you should be working on?
1) FAFSA - most schools/scholarships require it - link opens Dec 1st (make sure and fill out 2025-2026 school year)
2) College admission applications - most will include their own scholarship applications
3) Oregon Promise if attending community college and have a 2.0gpa minimum
4) Scholarships: OSAC, Ford Family Scholars application, selected college scholarship applications, the MHS Local Scholarship application, do a scholarship search on Naviance (this is also where other local scholarships will be listed)
